Volleyball Defeats Scotland

By Brianna Reaves

On September 13, 2016, Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball  both came out with a win against Scotland High School.  Both Varsity and JV worked great together and no matter how tough the matches got they came together to defeat Scotland.

“JV won the first set with no problem, but it was tough in the second set,”  said junior Taya Mckeithan.

They had to work a little harder in the second set to come out with a win.

JV played two out of three sets. Varsity played three out of five sets.

“Yesterday was a good win against Scotland. The third was the hardest, but I’m happy we pulled out a success,” said junior Katie Hill

Not only did Varsity  win in the third set but they worked  together and pulled through it to get the win.  Overall both teams played great games and were glad to bring home a win.
